This is the small-batch line for hand-stitched leather bags: tote, shoulder and crossbody shapes made from full-grain vegetable-tanned hide, with hand-burnished edges and saddle stitching rather than machine runs.Material: full-grain vegetable-tanned cowhide at 1.8-2.2mm for structured totes, 1.2-1.5mm for shoulder bags, and chrome-tanned hide where a softer drape is wanted.

Vegetable-tanned leather darkens with use, which is the point of the material, so colour matching between two bags is done at cutting rather than at finishing.Construction: saddle stitching at 8-9 stitches per inch with waxed linen thread, edges burnished and sealed in three passes, solid brass hardware rather than plated zinc, and a cotton canvas lining.

Hardware finish and thread colour are the two choices buyers underestimate, because together they decide whether the bag reads as handmade or as factory output.Output is limited: one artisan completes two to three bags a day, so a 50-piece order takes 25-30 days and larger runs are scheduled across a longer window.

Samples take 10-14 days. This line is deliberately not priced against mass-market leather goods, and the minimum order is 20 pieces per style.
